Quantum Mind at joepangallo.com is a personal educational site operated by Joe Pangallo. This page explains what data the site handles today and how it is used.

What this site collects

  • Basic server and hosting logs such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, and requested URLs, which are generated by the hosting stack when you visit the site.
  • Information you choose to send by email. The “Email Me Updates” form does not submit to a hidden backend. It opens your own mail app with a prefilled message to josephpangallo@gmail.com.
  • Local browser storage for convenience features such as theme preference and saved bookmarks.
  • Cached copies of site assets stored by the site’s service worker so pages can load faster and remain available offline.

What this site does not currently do

  • No account system or login.
  • No hidden newsletter subscription backend.
  • No sale of personal information.

How information is used

  • To serve pages, keep the site available, and troubleshoot abuse or reliability problems.
  • To respond to messages or update requests you choose to send.
  • To remember your theme setting and bookmarks on your own device.

External services and links

Core site assets are served locally from the site itself. Share buttons still open third-party sites such as X and LinkedIn only when you click them.

Newsletter requests

If you use the newsletter request form, your email address is handled as part of your email message. That information is used only to review and respond to your request. If a managed newsletter provider is added later, this policy will be updated before that workflow goes live.

Your choices

  • You can clear site bookmarks, theme settings, and cached content through your browser storage controls.
  • You can choose not to use the update-request form and contact the site owner directly by email instead.
  • You can avoid third-party share requests by not using those features.
